About this Unit
This is a "Work Experience in Industry" unit, for which no student contribution or fee is charged. Enrolment in the unit will not consume Student Learning Entitlement (SLE). The Professional Studies unit must be completed before the student is eligible to graduate. The objective of this unit is to provide students with 40 days work experience. There are many varied sectors of the horticultural industry in which work experience can be undertaken. These are as varied as student's interests and can include production, research and development, marketing, administration, parks and recreation, ancillary industries, service providers, councils, retail, wholesale, design, distribution or nurseries.
