Major - Environmental Science

Western Sydney University Major Code: RU3024.1

Available to students in other Western Sydney University Courses : NO

This major gives students broad knowledge of different species with a focus of how they integrate and interact with each other and the physical environment. It also develops laboratory and field skills analysing the chemistry, biochemistry and physiology of organisms and environmental niches. A choice can be made from higher level units that offer students the opportunity to specialise in specific areas centring on plants, animals, microbes, or aquatic environments.
