About this Unit
This unit aims to provide students with knowledge of current perspectives on the assessment and treatment of a range of emotional and behavioural disorders of childhood and adolescence, and practical skills in selecting assessment and treatment strategies. It emphasises the importance of adopting a developmental perspective and working in the context of the family, as well as considering the unique characteristics associated with working with children, adolescents and their families in a clinical context.
