About this Unit
This is a practice-oriented unit, focusing exclusively on the construction and implementation of corporate design identities. Students research, observe and construct systems to brand commercial organisations. Emphasis is placed on the deconstruction of historically dominant models within visual culture and acute awareness of this language in commercial contexts. This will include intensive analysis in aspects of logo design, identity development, style guide construction, and application including document design.
