About this Unit
In this unit attention will be drawn to the processes of meaning making in performance, and how these are experienced and understood. Central will be questions around self-reflective practice, the nature of creativity, consciousness and unconsciousness, symbol, metaphor and image. Issues of personal and social sustainability will be addressed along with issues of feelings, emotion and vulnerability. Through this unit students will be drawn to consider personal and social identity and personal and social relevance in and through performance.
