About this Unit
In this unit students will work with the technology and the skills relevant to the creation and appraising to performance on screen. Students will gain insight into mixed media performance styles through research into the use of video, film, television and digital media. They will inquire into values, concepts and forms of screen performance and the relationship between live performance and performance on screen. Through the development of project-based events they will be guided in the construction of innovative performance that explores and problematises the nexus between live performance and screen based imagery.
