About this Unit
This unit is being replaced by 101557 The Individual in Society in Spring 2010. This unit looks at the importance of interpersonal interaction in personal and work life. It will present theories from social psychology and human communication. Communication skills and the different forms of communications will also be examined. For example, effective listening, non-verbal communication, disclosing, and asserting. Students will be encouraged to observe and reflect on the interpersonal interactions around them, including their own.
