In 2017 this unit replaced by 102517 - Innovation and Entrepreneurship PG. This unit offers students a focused, in-depth and engaged understanding of specific industry roles
and methods including business development. In this unit students acquire and develop the
systemic skills needed by the convergent media producer working across production modalities
from commercial to social to comment media contexts. It covers the roles and responsibilities of
the convergent media producer and the social media producer, with specific focus on budgets,
business development, legal matters, and production planning.
