About this Unit
It involves the conceptual and technical development of a prototype new media product in response to a specific design brief. The brief will define the scope of the prototype required, provide a general description of the 'client' requirements, and identify a clear focus for the design process. However, the unit is intended to provide an experimental space where the student will be given the opportunity to consolidate, merge and juxtapose different styles and processes. How the prototype is realised therefore, and how the brief is interpreted, will be left open. A variety of outcomes is anticipated.
