Revenue Law introduces you to the underlying principles relating to the imposition of taxation. The unit of study is essential for all students intending to embark on a career in law, business, commerce or the public sector. The unit aims to provide a knowledge and understanding of the overall system of taxation; a critical analysis of the concept of income and capital; allowable deductions; taxation of partnerships and trusts, tax avoidance and the practical side of tax administration with the preparation of an income tax return.
