This unit will be replaced by 300889 - Pathological Basis of Disease from Spring 2013. This unit builds on human anatomy and physiology studied in first year, equipping students with detailed knowledge of general pathological processes and selected systems pathology. The student is introduced to histology and histopathology. Many previously learned scientific principles are integrated into the context of disease.
