About this Unit
This unit builds on the knowledge gained in Introduction to Health Promotion. It provides the opportunity to apply health promotion theory to practical projects related to current health priorities. It also examines a range of political, social and economic issues and the way in which they impact on current health promotion practice and best practice guidelines and future directions for health promotion. It is intended to develop skills critical to implementing quality health promotion.
