About this Unit
This unit maintains the same commitment as the prerequisite to developing a critical empiricist perspective on the use of therapeutic interventions. This unit focuses on more complex psychological disorders and presents a range of alternative intervention modes other than individual psychotherapy. It continues to utilise a cognitive behavioural perspective to encourage the development of a cohesive and coherent organising model for clinical practice grounded within the existing experimental and clinical psychology literature.
