About this Unit
This unit introduces students to quantitative techniques required for determining relationships between economic and financial variables as well as testing economic and financial theories. Specific topics include optimisation problems in economics and finance, a review of inferential statistics, classical regression models and time series analysis. Students completing this unit are expected to be able to interpret results from econometric analyses commonly encountered in commercial fields. Unit available for masters only.
